Happy Friday Reader!

Your feedback on my free 10-day AI challenge warmed my heart. Thank you! Many of you expressed a desire to enhance your tech confidence, but let's face it: time is challenging for most of us.

I'm cooking up some new, hands-on, easily digestible ideas to help us busy women become more digitally savvy! Watch for what's coming next in my Future-Ready Woman Community.

I've been busy hosting my live masterclasses with remarkable women, all on a journey to become tech-confident Future-Ready Women. We wrapped up our 10th (!!!) live session today, and it's been an amazing journey.

Let's dive into today's hot topic: "AI anxiety, anyone? How can you stay up-to-date in the ever-evolving Gen AI tech game?"

Ready?

Time to Tune In ❤️

In Silicon Valley, a new AI story is unfolding. Sam Altman returns as OpenAI's CEO, and it's like a tech soap opera with an urgent warning. Despite heavy competition, OpenAI maintained a near-monopoly in the AI realm. But this Wednesday, Google's Gemini brought a seismic shift.

Gemini Ultra is the first AI model to outshine GPT-4 on crucial benchmarks.

Why's this a big deal?

Because we need diversity in AI, it's not about one startup or a group of mostly white tech enthusiasts taking the helm and deciding our technological future. The question is, what principles are guiding their decisions?

In a world where AI is still in its early stages, resembling the Wild West, it's crucial that a broad spectrum of voices and perspectives actively influence AI's future. This diversity ensures that AI algorithms remain grounded in humanity and ethical values.

Ready to Gear Up 🧰

This brings me to a topic close to my heart: We need more women to become tech-confident and actively engage in shaping our digital future. The more diverse voices we have, the better!

So here are my beginner tips to get into the AI game today:

  1. Follow AI Thought Leaders: Pick 5 AI thought leaders to follow on LinkedIn or newsletters.
  2. Two AI Experts I love: Rachel Woods or "Superhuman" Zain Kahn.
  3. Dive Deeper: Click on exciting articles, Google for more, join communities, or ask ChatGPT 😜
  4. Build Your AI Library: Experts mention other experts and recommend further resources.
  5. Go Vertical: Explore AI in your industry, like education or healthcare.
  6. Gets hands-on: this is the best way to learn first-hand about technology.

Feeling overwhelmed with all the information coming your way?

Let's solve that.

Put your Power Play on 🕹️

To manage info overload, set up a "Read Later" app to save articles for when you can read or try a prompt. I use Reader from Readwise, allowing digital highlights for later review.

I get most of my insights from newsletters, but here's the catch: I often find fascinating articles, useful how-to guides, or intriguing ChatGPT prompts when swamped with other tasks.

That's where a "Read Later" app comes in handy. I save these articles for later, and I can enjoy reading them during my downtime.

Ready to Accelerate 🚀

For women already consuming AI news, watching tutorials, etc., but feel that they learn randomly and disjointedly?

Here comes the pro tip: create a digital learning system to keep up with the speed of tech.

I use Notion AI as my go-to digital keepsake box in my business and personal life and created a template for my masterclass, but you should pick the digital tool that fits you best. The key is to create a system that accelerates your learning. So, consider how AI can assist you in organizing and connecting all your information in the future.

Start crafting your little system today and start with your top five AI experts to follow.
